Can't sleep? Here's how reflexology can help you rest again.

If your sleep has gone haywire lately — maybe you’re waking up at 3am for no clear reason, struggling to switch off a racing mind, or feeling shattered but wired at bedtime — you’re not alone.
So many of the women I treat tell me the same story:
“I’m exhausted, but I just can’t stay asleep.”
“My brain won’t shut up at night.”
“I wake up feeling groggy, like I haven’t slept at all.”
Sleep struggles like these are incredibly common, especially during big hormonal shifts like perimenopause, after having children, or when life feels a lot. Stress, overstimulation, and nervous system dysregulation all play a role — and reflexology can offer gentle, effective support.
Why reflexology is a game-changer for sleep
Reflexology isn’t just a foot massage (though yes, it does feel amazing). It works by stimulating specific points on the feet (or hands or face) that correspond to different systems in the body — including those responsible for rest, digestion, hormone regulation and stress relief.
What does that mean in real life? It helps to:
Calm a frazzled nervous system
Reduce cortisol (your stress hormone)
Support the body's natural sleep rhythms
Promote the release of feel-good hormones like serotonin
Ease digestive discomfort that might be disrupting sleep
It’s not about “knocking you out” like a sleep aid. It’s about helping your body remember how to switch off, naturally.
My personal sleep story
There was a time I could fall asleep anywhere — trains, planes, noisy rooms, you name it. But after kids, and especially once perimenopause crept in, sleep became far more elusive. I’d lie in bed with a racing mind, or wake up at 3:42am for no obvious reason, then spend the rest of the night tossing and turning.
What helped me wasn’t a gadget, supplement, or fancy routine — it was reflexology. Just as I've seen insomniac clients sleep through the night after a single visit to my treatment room, I found a few minutes of footwork before bed, or even a 30-second SOS technique when I woke in the night, made all the difference.
The power of a good night's sleep
When you sleep properly, everything changes. You wake up clear-headed and emotionally steadier. You can handle more. You feel more you.
That’s why I created The 7 Day Reflexology Sleep Reset, a gentle online course you can follow at your own pace from home.
Whether you’re craving some hands-on support through reflexology treatments, or you want to learn simple foot routines to do yourself in bed, I’ve got you.

Sleep doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it just takes a few well-placed pressure points and permission to rest.
